Pyramid Lake
Pyramid Lake can be considered world famous for it’s fishing. The Lahontan Cutthroat Trout is what has made this lake famous with 30” fish weighing 12-15 pounds as an average. Fishing Season in the winter makes this lake as popular in the winter as it is in the summer. Summer Recreation in 76 degree water and beach camping right off the shoreline makes this another local favorite. Pyramid is located about 30 north of Sparks odd the Pyramid Highway on the Pyramid Lake Paiute Reservation. You will need to secure a permit to use the lake but that is easy to get.
