Lake Britton

Lake Britton is that great little fishing/skiing getaway that you can almost count on not being crowded. Lake Britton is located off Hwy 89 going toward McCloud, right by Burney Falls. During the season the lake is planted with Trout weekly, the scenery is amazing, there are a few ramps available and some protected coves to fish, ski or just hang out. Lake Britton has a variety of bass and trout for the fishing enthusiast and its most unique feature is the railroad bridge owned by McCloud Railroad spanning the lake.
