Fallen Leaf Lake

Fallen Leaf Lake is located just South of Lake Tahoe at an elevation of 6400 feet. Fallen Leaf is the essence of the true mountain lake that you imagine seeing on a hike. However, Fallen Leaf is boatable, the fishing is amazing for Rainbow Trout, you can ski and ride, paddleboard, rowboat and much more. Be careful on the drive in as the road is a little narrow and windy, but once you’re there you will feel at ease in the serene environment. There are rental homes available, cabins, camping a nice launch ramp, general store and views that can only be imagined.
